ForgeCaster Desktop · Visualizer
Give your sound a scene.
Turn music into a moving backdrop, a fractal journey or a geometric performance. Create locally, save your look, and bring the output straight into Broadcast.
Manual Visualizer tools run on your computer without a cloud tenant. Connected event rules use your signed-in workspace and its advanced avatar event access. Audio capture starts only when you choose Start audio.
A starting point for every mood
Explore 34 supplied themes across 19 effect families: liquid patterns, nebulae, tunnels, fractals, strange attractors, a rotating 4D hypercube and organic raymarched forms. Adjust palette, motion, scale and intensity, or open Advanced for detailed controls.
Respond to the sound you actually play
Select the Windows output carrying your music. Local analysis separates bass, mids, treble and energy rises. Configure up to eight routes per layer, with thresholds, attack, release and response curves. Modulation leaves your saved base settings intact. Energy rises are onset detection, not BPM synchronization.
Build your own visual language
Blend up to four generated layers with normal, additive or screen blending. Save local presets, review compatible imported scenes, and cycle saved looks with timed holds and dissolves. A project keeps its previous saved revisions.
One visual, several places
Add the private local source to Broadcast, or open a clean output for external capture and fullscreen display. A shared live renderer supplies connected output windows. Capture and encoding still use resources; start with 720p at 30 fps and test alongside your usual show.
Make a loop you can reuse
Export a PNG snapshot, a sequence of PNG frames or a silent MP4 loop. Loop exports render at exact frame times in a separate renderer, so the live visual keeps running. Clips support 2–120 seconds at 15–30 fps; complex scenes can render slower than playback.
Give a moment its own look
Advanced rules can select a saved preset for current command, gift, redeem, follow, membership or addon events from your connected workspace. Rules have minimum values and cooldowns. Stale events are discarded; preset changes do not start streaming or recording.
From first look to Broadcast
- Install the latest Windows Desktop and open Visualizer, between VTuber Studio and Workspace.
- Choose a theme. Tune the basic controls, give the project a name and select Save project.
- For music response, choose its Windows audio output and select Start audio. Use Stop audio when finished. Endpoint capture includes all sound playing through that output; it does not isolate a single application.
- Choose Clean output for a separate window, or Add to Broadcast and review the source before adding it to your scene.
- Make a private test recording with the rest of your show. Open Advanced only when you need layers, audio routes, playlists, event rules or exports.
Changes in Visualizer affect all linked live outputs. Keep private source links on the same computer, and do not share them publicly. Output is opaque video. Exports contain no music or microphone audio.
If an output is blank or slow
Allow the graphics renderer to initialize, then check its status in Visualizer. Keep ForgeCaster open. If the renderer stops, choose Reopen renderer. Reduce resolution, layers or raymarch detail when GPU usage rises. Use separate audio outputs if you want music to react independently from speech or game sound.
